Rainbow

A structure innovative tea table, standing without any mortise structures or metal jointing structures

/ Overview:

This project started from a famous painting: the "Along the River During the Qingming Festival". There is a bridge with special structure in the middle part of the painting called ‘Rainbow Bridge”, i tried to bring the basic principle of the special structure to the reality and explored the diversity of that basic principle. Finally, the Rainbow tea table was created, a structure innovative tea table, standing without any mortise structures or metal jointing structures.
